  • World Health Organisation (WHO) Award for Excellence in Primary Healthcare at the very prestigious ICICI Lombard& CNBC TV18 India Healthcare Awards 2012.
  • South Asian Federation (SAARC Nations) of Accountants 2nd Runner up award for Excellence in Financial Reporting in the year 2010.

  • Dr. KS Sanjeevi Memorial Award, given by CIOSA, Chennai on Doctor’s Day, for the outstanding medical service rendered by SVYM in rural areas in 2009.
  • Ninth Bhagawan Mahaveer Award 2004 for Excellence in human endeavour in the field of community & social service.
  • Government of Karnataka honoured SVYM by presenting Dr.Baba saheb Ambedkar Award on 2002 for Excellence of Service
  • National Youth Award for 1991-92 from the Government of India for its pioneering work in nation building activities
  • UNAIDS had documented SVYM’s approach to HIV/AIDS Control (especially the ’integration’ concept) as a best practice model.
  • As a pilot site for Harvard Medical School’s SEEK (Screening & Early Evaluation of Kidney Diseases) research project , SVYM carried out apath-breaking multi-centric study to screen for kidney disorders in the rural community. The study has been highlighted in international forums, including the Nephrology Congress in the U.S.
